RAD for PRAC 101

In partnership with The Gates Development Group, we will cover the basics of the RAD for PRAC conversion program and provide an understanding of how to know if you want to convert.

We will also discuss the steps you can take right now to ensure your PRAC rents are as high as possible, your reserves are adequately funded, and to learn more about the new “Preservation Rent Increase” available to converted PRACs that refinance.

About the Trainers

Gates Kellett has over 25 years of experience in the affordable housing world, and her company, The Gates Development Group, is currently working with over 30 PRAC owners on more than 50 PRAC conversions. Gates has facilitated over 15 “RAD for PRAC” trainings in various forms over the past few years.

Jenny DeSilva has over 25 years of experience in affordable housing, and DeSilva Housing Group assists owners with programmatic implementation of HUD Multifamily leasing and occupancy operations following closing on RAD transactions. She serves as a HUD technical assistance subcontractor, providing TRACS and Secure Systems technical assistance to owners completing RAD for PRAC conversions.
