Join us as we discuss the best practices for layering HUD’s Project Based Rental Assistance Programs with the IRS’ Low Income Housing Tax Credit program. Designed for property and compliance staff currently operating within HUD’s programs who are or will be new to the LIHTC program, this course will cover common pitfalls and best practices for ensuring that you start off and remain in compliance with regulatory requirements for both programs. We’ll discuss household eligibility topics to include income eligibility and student rules as well as certification requirements and allowable rent charges within the framework of operating a property that’s both subsidized by HUD and funded by tax credits.
